All on Four
Historically, patients missing most or all of their teeth had options to wear a removable appliance to replace missing teeth or to have a complex rehabilitation with implants, often requiring grafting and several months of healing before having teeth again.
The All-On-Four Solution often eliminates the healing time and expense of grafting and replacing an entire arch with 10-12 implants. Patients most often leave our office with a set of fixed teeth on the day of surgery. Many have called this “teeth in a day”. Most patients report the surgery and recovery was easier than they expected and has allowed them to regain confidence in strong teeth and a great smile.
Most often, when a patient complains about denture problems, it involves a lower denture. The overdenture regains some retention and stability of a lower denture with two to four implants. An overdenture can easily be removed by the patient for cleaning. Because this option is removable and usually involves only two implants, it typically costs less than the All on Four Solution.
Single Tooth Replacement
Ideally everybody has 28-32 sound, healthy teeth. Unfortunately decay, fracture, and periodontal disease often cause premature loss of teeth. When one tooth is lost, chewing force is distributed to other teeth. This may cause unnecessary stress, unhealthly loading, and shifting of natural teeth as well as bone loss or resorption at the site missing a tooth. Replacing a single tooth not only restores what was once lost, but often contributes to preserving good dentition.
